STORY TITLE : The Journey

It was a hot, sunny day. Mandy, Helen, Lessie and Peter were having a reunion together. Peter opened up a newspaper to read. Peter turned the newspaper page and he saw, on huge, bold headlines:

Terrorist Brings Terror to Paris

As Peter read on, his eyes grew wider and wider in awe. Finally, he managed to stutter, “What?!”

Mandy, Helen and Lessie turned to look at him. His nose turned red. Mandy giggled. “You look strange! What has happened to you?”

Peter replied, “Nothing, just a little angry. I read from the newspaper that a terrorist named Joe has stolen a bomb from a lab owned by some scientists. Many warriors have tried to kill Joe, but none succeeded.”

Mandy turned to look at her friends. “Well, I suppose we can’t go and try to kill Joe, can we?”

“Well, maybe we should really go.” Peter replied. He turned to look at his friends. They nodded. In a while, they were dressed.

The friends looked grand in their amour. They held swords and rifles in their hands. They nodded to one another. “Alright. Let’s go!” Peter shouted. They set of on their mission to protect Paris.

Peter looked at his map anxiously. “We need to get there before Joe strikes!”

“Yeah. Let’s not waste any time any more. We need to find Joe!” Lessie said.

They were pressed on and suddenly, they caught sight of it.

It was Joe’s castle!

“At last! We have made it!” Peter shouted triumphantly.

They walked into the castle door and climbed up the stairs. Suddenly, they caught sight of the bomb itself! It was so big; it nearly filled up the whole room! And there was a man with a smirk on his face. Compared to the bomb, he looked quite small sized!

He grinned. “More warriors! Attack!”

Mandy drew her sword and so did the others. Sparks flew as the swords collided. Helen shot with her rifle but missed. More sparks flew as the swords met each other.

“He’s powerful!” Peter panted.

“We’re more powerful!” Mandy shouted confidently.

“You’ll never return alive!” Joe said.

“Oh, I won’t be so sure!” Mandy said. More sparks flew as the swords met with a clang.

“Bang!” Lessie and Helen shot. The noise made the terrorist back away. He hid behind the bomb. “Ha! You’ll never get me out of here!” he shouted triumphantly.

Lessie shot once more. He looked up. “Eh, I think we’re in for some danger…” he said.

The others looked up. Lessie had shot the bomb by mistake! They scrambled out of the castle and ran for their lives. The terrorist was still stuck behind the bomb.

KABOOM!!!” the bomb exploded. The four friends had saved the city!

Back at the village, the friends were celebrating with the Mayor their victory over Joe. The Mayor awarded them with Gold Medals and they were very much honoured people.

“I like the feeling of being a hero.” Peter thought as the ceremony ended.
